This week we’ll suffice with a list of vegetables, but later this year we’ll send a full-fledged Newsletter.
*A serious shortage of tomatoes has set in. We picked a bit of what’s in the field, supplemented with a bit more cherry tomatoes, but still and all, most of your boxes will be sorely lacking tomatoes this week. We did not purchase supplemental stock because the quality of the produce we checked was absolutely the lowest.
We do hope that the shortage will be short, so to speak!
*But, now a message from the half-full side of the cup: Our first sweet potatoes have arrived! Swiss chard has come in from the heat! Big, delicious and healthy red bell peppers are here! Don’t miss this week’s boxes!
WHAT’S IN THIS WEEK’S BOXES?
Thursday: Sweet potatoes, cucumbers, coriander/mint (nana)/parsley, eggplant/cherry tomatoes/ tomatoes/carrots, corn, Thai beans, basil/Swiss chard, pumpkin, potatoes, red bell peppers. Small boxes only: scallions/garlic chives.
Large box, in addition: Leeks, lettuce, popcorn, okra.
And there’s more! You can add to your basket a wide, delectable range of additional products from fine small producers: flour, fruits, honey, dates, almonds, garbanzo beans, crackers, probiotic foods, dried fruits and leathers, olive oil, bakery products and goat dairy products too! You can learn more about each producer on the Chubeza website. Our order system also features a detailed listing of the products and their cost. Make an order online now!
Wishing you a good week to start the New Year!
