July 1-3, 2024 – A FIELD DAY IN THE PUMPKIN PATCH
Each year, the summer brings a bevy of new vegetables, including the rich array of tempting varieties of Chubeza’s squash
In a wide field in the Ayalon Valley, we cultivate a mixed vegetable garden with about 100 different types of unique and high-quality vegetables and herbs, all grown organically without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Introducing a new artisan and a distinctive new product: Yael Cohen from Jerusalem is a pharmacist of natural cosmetics, and prepares soaps from oils and natural products, which contribute to the health of the skin and body, and...vegetables. Vegetable soaps have interesting advantages: they make use of excess vegetables, the sugar in the vegetables increases the lather of the soap and makes it richer, more enjoyable and nutritious, and the vegetables color the soap and give it a special energy of animals and fertile soil.
Every month, Yael will prepare a seasonal soap, adapted to the vegetables that grow in season. The soap of this month is pumpkin soap. You are invited to meet the familiar pumpkin in a way you did not expect...
The price of soap is NIS 30. Treat yourself or a good friend - you can add it to your box through our order system.
We’re delighted to welcome this year’s long-awaited debut of Kibbutz Samar’s delectable dates. As they join the incredibly tasty dates from Elazar Farm, Chubeza officially declares the opening of this year’s new organic date season. Enjoy!
The Elazar Farm (located in Faran in the Central Arava) grows exceptional Medjool and Barhi dates. Their unique approach prompts early harvesting to yield soft, juicy dates. Kibbutz Samar (in the Southern Arava) is a longtime date powerhouse, cultivating plump, sweet Medjool dates, soft and very sweet Barhi, the caramel-flavored and drier Deglet Nour, and the small, honey-like Zahidi dates.
Add these healthy, delectable treasures to your vegetable box via the Chubeza Order System.
The list is updated on the delivery day at the end of the packing process.

To everything, there is a season, and a time for every vegetable under the sky…
We believe in seasonal produce, grow various types of vegetables, and always strive to send new surprises in the boxes. Most of our vegetables are grown in an open field, which is greatly influenced by the weather and the seasons. The vegetables in the basket vary and change according to the seasonal availability in the Ayalon Valley. Thus, at the end of the summer, we say goodbye to the summer vegetables and warmly welcome the winter vegetables, which we have missed since spring. We know that the farewell is temporary, as we will meet them again in the summer.
In the Ayalon Valley, we cultivate a mixed vegetable garden with about 100 different types of unique and high-quality vegetables and herbs, all grown organically without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Driven by a desire to renew the connection between people, agriculture, and nature, and to enable the flourishing of small, environmentally friendly agriculture, we chose “Community Supported Agriculture.” We invite you to join the Chubeza community—you “subscribe” to a weekly box of produce from our organic field and receive, every week, a box filled with fresh, tasty, and healthy produce straight from the field, varying with the seasons.
