THANK YOU!!
On the Monday of Chol Hamoed Sukkot, we joyfully celebrated Chubeza’s traditional Open Day. After three years of war, hostages, grief, pain and fear, we all greatly need breathing space. The Open Day offered the perfect way to celebrate together with you – in the open air, alongside Chubeza’s field and vegetables that steadily accompany us all with diligent growth, determination, and total indifference to human chaos.
HOLIDAY DELIVERY SCHEDULE – AND AN INVITATION!
Ever since Chubeza’s very first year, there have been no deliveries of our weekly vegetable boxes over Chol HaMoed, the intermediate days of Sukkot and Passover.
Thus, there will be no deliveries next week – the intermediate days of Sukkot. Instead, in step with the long-loved Chubeza tradition, we invite you to come to us! Please
come visit us at the farm, making a “pilgrimage” to Chubeza to celebrate our Open Day in the Field!
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 TH (the second day of Chol HaMoed) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Holiday delivery schdule
The holiday season brings changes to our delivery schedules, we will be distributing vegetables on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We have included a full list of these changes in this week’s newsletter. We will send a personal message to everyone with a standing order, confirming their specific delivery times; if you are unsure when your box is scheduled to arrive, please contact us.
If you have made any changes to your order (such as adding or cancelling a box), it is a good idea to double-check your delivery schedule with us, as changes can sometimes disrupt the timing—especially for bi-weekly orders. Wishing us all a happy new year—Shana Tove U'Metukent, Ktiva Ve'Hatima Tova!
Welcome T'Sh'P'Z - May we have a golden year - radiant, simple, stable, and sustainable.

THE POPCORN DANCE
The beginning of the school year is an exciting time, but sometimes a little scary and difficult: a new place, unknown challenges, people you don’t yet know. This takes time, trust, and the understanding that you need lots of patience and hope for the “new” to become familiar and inviting. The star of this week’s Newsletter is none other than that hard, shriveled corn that you’ll receive in your box, the popcorn that proves that if you give even the hardest, most shriveled beginning a little warmth, patience and trust, it will bounce, burst open, reveal its very own inner softness, and bring joy and delight.
As each year, the end of the summer brings the long-awaited Popcorn Season, when your boxes bring smaller, harder corncobs than usual. Please don’t try to cook them in water, and don’t toss them out figuring Chubeza’s corn crop went bad this week. These are actually very successful corncobs that gladden the hearts of young and old with phenomenal, delectable treats. Hurray for popcorn!
