Every week you receive a wide variety of the absolute freshest seasonal vegetables, but not by individual personal order. Of course we want you to be happy and stay with us, so we grow a variety of vegetables and fill the boxes adequately. We try hard to balance the varieties of vegetables: cooking vegetables and those eaten raw, “hard” vegetables, leafy vegetables and herbs. Part of the fun comes in the surprises awaiting you in each week’s box, and the pleasure of preparing and eating veggies you probably would not have bought due to their being unfamiliar, hard to find, or exorbitantly priced.

To get an impression of what we grow, take a look at our harvest schedule.

And, see our Guide to Storing Vegetables to give you important tips on how to enjoy and keep fresh vegetables at their best.

At the end of the season, we’d love to hear your feedback to help us plan the crops we’ll plant for the next year.

You can add a note with requests regarding your vegetable selection.

Please use this format:
No (veggies A-B-C)
Instead would like: (veggies D-E-H)
We’ll comply as best we can, depending on the vegetables that are in  season.

Large families, vegetarian families, or anyone who consumes hearty quantities of vegetables may opt to buy extra portions of certain vegetables. On the other hand, if you’re interested in committing to a CSA share but fear there may be more veggies than you can use in a week, you can subscribe for an every-other-week delivery, or share a box with neighbors or friends.

We grow mainly annuals, and have no trees or bushes. During the summer, we grow melons and watermelons and include them in the season’s boxes.

If you do want fruit, you may add a box of organic fruits, grown by other organic farmers and packed by us.
